I wanted to post about this, because even though it has gotten more media attention in the past month than in the past 60 years, a lot of folks are still unaware of this happening, and the events going on with it. Alot of people are sick, alot of people are probably just ticking time bombs. I lived there as a family member, from 1970 to about 1973 ish. My sister was born there. She suffers from seizures from an unknown cause. If you have Netflix, there is a documentary- Semper Fi: Always Faithful. It is sure an eye opener. There is a registry for people who lived or worked at CL between 1953 and 1987: clnr.hqi.usmc.mil/clwater/index.aspxHere is a website set up to by people outside of the government to keep victims informed www.tftptf.com/Between Agent Orange and toxic water, who knows what illnesses even us 2nd and even 3rd generations may end up with. Some of these toxins mess with your DNA. So far the VA is recognizing 15 diseases due to toxic water at CL: www.publichealth.va.gov/exposures/camp-lejeune/

Hey ya'll! I just want to thank everyone who has contacted me regarding my father. Your stories and memories of him have touched my heart, and enabled me to know my father a little better as a man, instead of just my father who passed too young. Thanks for all the helpful advice on replacing medals, getting personnel records, etc. It has been a great help.
