When this Marine jumped on the bus that we had chartered to take us to the Marine Barracks Evening Parade I half-expected him to yell "Awright, youse maggots! Get your useless civilian asses off this bus and put your feet on the yellow footprints that are painted on the blacktop!" Instead, the Marine was welcoming our Squadron to the Marine Barracks at 8th and I to witness one of the most splendid military drill and music presentations to be performed anywhere in the world. HMM-365 Vietnam were seated in the front row. We had received 50 reserved seats for the parade. The good looking one is the Bulldog named Gunny. The one with the hat is Bill Bloomfield. For the next Squadron reunion our Squadron mascot English Bulldog, Lance Corporal Chesty of the Chosin Few, will be present, compliments of the del Rosario family. The Evening Parade at Marine Corps Barracks, Eighth and I, Washington. I'll post more pics soon. s/f del
