It is with much sadness that I report to y'all the untimely death of a great Lady and wonderful friend. Karen Bermudez passed to her Lord this morning after suffering a stroke in the night.
As she wished, her remains will be cremated and burial will be in her family's plot in Quantico, Virginia at a date not yet determined. Karen's daughter, Kelli Moch, is with Frank now at his home in The Villages, Florida.
Sympathy Cards, or donations to your favorite charity in her name, may be sent in lieu of flowers.

I received the sad news of Karen passing away while I was just about to go to the Basilica di San Pietro (St. Peter's Basillica) at the Vatican. I asked my niece, Dr. Mitos Andaya, the Director of the University of Georgia, Athens Chamber Choir, to dedicate one of the hymns that they sang at High Mass at the Basilica to Karen Bermudez. Frank, I want you to know that I and our brothers in the Squadron have you in our prayers. We too mourn the passing of your Karen - a beautiful lady and loving wife. Semper Fi, delHere are some pics that I took of the UGA Choir singing High Mass at St. Peter's in Rome on a few days ago. To view more pics of my Italy tour go to choiritalia.angelfire.com
