Del, You are the expert. Over on the old bulletin board, I found a message from Gunny Sanders and his son. Maybe you can capture an e-mail and contact him. He lives in Irvine, CA.
Sez he has lots of photos to review. Maybe you can help him out.

I just got off the phone with Dave Hernandez. We had e-mailed earlier today. He tells me he will go to San Clemente for the L/3/9 reunion.
Dave lives in Youngstown, Ohio. and likes living away from the hustle and Bustle of California.
Dave is a retired MSGT. Anyway we had a long conversation about how much we all weigh now. It was a fun phone call. He will be in touch from now on.

Tonite, I recieved a phone call from P.J. Carl, a Marine brother who stays in touch with ID as they are old friends from the Air America Days. Any way, Ina is terminally ill with cancer and PJ tells me she is nearing the end. He asked that we call and offer encouragement to I.D. This is not a good time and I.D. himself, has had two strokes and is not in the best of health. Phone number is 1-256-778-7351 I.D. has been a great friend and comrade through the years and one hell of a Marine. We owe him this call.

I spoke with Speedy last night to check on his wife's condition. She was out of surgery and resting in a step down unit at the hospital. They have removed her kidney, spleen, and part of her pancreas. Speedy tells me she was awake and in good spirits. He thanks everyone who has called and those who have offerred prayers for her recovery.
I asked Speedy to keep us advised as to her condition. Speedy is at 1-951-264-7458. They live in the Riverside, CA area.
I'm sure he would like to hear from everyone.

In the past few days, I have been advised that Spedy's wife Enriqueta is ill and has been diagnosed with Kidney Cancer.
I asked Speedy to keep us advised as to her condition. I believe for right now prayer is the best option from us. Speedy is at 1-951-264-7458. They live in the Riverside, CA area.
I'm sure he would like to hear from everyone.
I reminded him that I had kidney cancer 8 yrs. ago and I am still kicking. Don't know for how much longer but still, I've been OK.

That is a great idea Del. Perhaps we can even take up a collection and help with accommodations. Mariano Aguirre

Hilliard was a driver in the Motor Transport section. He was one of the guys we had not heard from. Mike , your dad served with a great unit in the early days of the Vietnam war. He was one of our truck drivers. Dave McGehee and Dave Kelley are probably your best sources for info because they worked with him.
I am sorry to see that he passed away at such a young age. Many of us are dying from a variety of illnesses mostly derived from Agent Orange exposure. I will try to get in touch with kelley and Mcgehee and they can then contact you.

To my knowledge Trini was not in the system. At this point it is probably too late.
We were advised this morning that he had passed away .
No word on arrangements. Mario
