Sad news. Keith Fick will be reporting to St Peter today. Is there anyone in the Squadron who lives close to Blissfield, MI? We should have HMM-365 represented at the services. If you can make it this weekend (9/18-9/19/10) contact me at marinehelicopters@juno.com or Mariano Aguirre.

I'm still waiting for word about Keith. Here's the latest that I have via Mariano Aguirre, 9/18/10:
Keith was taken to the hospital earlier this week. While there he suffered a stroke and the doctors could not find any signs of life function in his brain. They put him on life support even though Keith had signed a DNR (do not resusciate) in case of such event happening to him. The doctors were not aware of this when they put him on the respirator. Keith's daughter told the docs of the DNR and, in keeping with Keith's wishes, they took him off life support yesterday. Keith is a stubborn guy and he continues to breathe without the support.

I just got home from Blissfield, the service was very nice and the VFW graveside service was good also. I spent some time with family and friends talking about what I could remember about Kieth and recieved many Thanks for careing and shareing. Kieth's body is dead and gone but his spirit will continue on in all the memories we have of him. SEMPER FI.
